When you post use proper grammar (Which includes spelling, punctuation, and proper capitalization).It makes reading the RPG easier.Posts need to be a minimum of 200 words for quality.

Godmodding and Powerplaying:

Neither will be tolerated, godmodding can be, but is not limited to, character control of other members characters without permission or performing task your character is not capable of. Same with power playing, your character may not have unbelievable human strength without permission from the RPG creator. No exceptions.

Any questions just ask in this thread and it will be answered.


TOOLS IN GAME

OOC: means Out Of Character

IC: In Character


IC is only used when you make an out of Character statement, correction, etc. The OOC should not be used for discusions about the RPG or other things. RPG chat, questions, etc. must be in the D&D (Discussion and Development) Thread for the RPG.

Another godmod thing:
If you see a post that you think is godmodding, don't get pissed off and start flipping out on the person. Just do an OOC post so the creator takes notice of it. Then he/she will take care of it.

I want this topic unlocked in case someone has something to add that we have forgotten or left out.I don't want you mad but some of these topics made by other mods are unlocked for these reasons so please ask before closing them for that reason.And if I am wrong for saying that then please tell me and you will have my apology.

Spam please delete but if they have any questions let them post here so they can be answered and there won't be any problems in the actual RPGs when that person joins.That is one of the reasons I made this along with making rules.But yes get rid of spam but allow questions.Thanks.

Can you somewhat move someone else's character around, if they haven't posted for like 2 days, and you're stuck in their room attempting to fight them but can't continue? So you could make them fight back a bit too..

No not without that persons permission so you are stuck there unless he/she says you can control them because that would be godmodding.

I have a question, so please don't delete my post as spam. When the AO - designing is done & is ready to go public, do we (as in, the guys who have an account in AOF) have to create a separate account for the game or can we use our AOF account??

You have to created a new account.AOF is just a forum to discuss the game and help with ideas and such.So you must start a whole new account when the game comes out.

O and this is not the place for the this question it should go in the Alagaesia FAQ topic because it is related to the game not the RPGs here in this part of the forum.This topic is for text based RPGs not actual gameplay of Alagaesia Online.
