I agree with Alf.
Though there should be this one special Berserk Potion for Berserkers, and Poison for umm... Assassins? which Increase their speed and attack to huge huge amounts with decreased defense for X minutes.

Yeah. Poison will be seperate. However, we could have anti poison potions.

I like the idea. Im pretty sure it wont take as much coding as letting people become architects, or programming every NPC, but it would be tough. I suppose it would be up to span if he thinks he can do it and/or wants to do it.

First of all, architect(and the crafting classes) are the most complicated things in the game, so far.
And you don't necessarily program every NPC, just the ones that actually need to do something different than the rest, all of them have the same basic AI system, just with minor tweaks between all of them.
I'm going to have to say no to this because I can already see many bugs/problems occurring
