Re: Classes Layout
Well being that this is only a basic layout, I can flip things around. Instead of Beast Master, I make it Hunter or some other name, make archery their main offense and beast mastery their secondary

Re: Classes Layout
Hmmm, that would be interesting.
OFF TOPIC: hehehe, span, your avi matches this skin.

Re: Classes Layout
Haha ya it kinda does.
OT: Ya I think the hunter idea would be better. Also, maybe instead of separating Craftsman into Armour Smith and Weapon Smith you can separate it into Artist (tailor, architect, etc.) and Black Smiths.

Re: Classes Layout
Yeah, then you can do something like this for steel:
Dagger (40)
med helm (41)
Short sword (42)
ETC.
Hmm, ill get to work on that.

Re: Classes Layout
I love the hunter idea, sounds awesome. And yeah, I haven't been on in awhile, seeing as teachers love piling tests and homework just before Christmas break. But I really love the hunter idea and like that better than before,

Re: Classes Layout
Next question...what is an example of a skill and a perk?
I think we're all waiting for someone to take the lead on this so we can get a better idea what it actually is we need to do. So to kick us in gear lets do one together here online so we can get this thing going. Span says we need 10-15 skills/perks per class, I'm not sure if he means the main header class or the subordinate classes or all. I'll assume he means the main header class such as CRAFTSMAN so if we split that up evenly that will make 5 skills for Blacksmith and 5 for Artist
Lets start with Blacksmith:
Weapon and Armor making - as I think about it a blacksmith will have to know this from the start will he not? I'd say just level them up as the character does so he can make better stuff with more EX.
Item making 1] Simple items like horse shoes
Add on here:
Any ideas what else can a blacksmith do?

I am covering the warrior (and knight and berserker) skills and perks, as I said I would. Hehe, however, will figuring out ideas, I distracted myself with games. lol.
Re: Classes Layout
I will try and figure out the rogue perks. I'll brainstorm for all of today.

Re: Classes Layout
Yeah, we all have gotten distracted since starting this thing, I'd like to try to regroup and get to work on it. It would be great to start making some real progress on it. The classes are a crucial part and this needs to be worked out before I can work on the characters pixel art and animation.
There's not a whole lot can be drawn out until we know what the characters are supposed to actually do.

Re: Classes Layout
I know almost every admin had their ideas done for teh classes they chose, we just never actually worked everything out.
Re: Classes Layout
I have the assassins and if there are any that need to be done I can do them too.

Re: Classes Layout
@Alf:- For blacksmiths, apart from horse shoes, they can start off with arrow & spear heads, right?? Just thought about it that I didn't like the idea of only members being able to smith arrow tips in RS.

Re: Classes Layout
I dunno, thats up to you guys to decide, I was just tryingto get the ball rolling with this thread. I had hoped that everyone would add something to it.
Re: Classes Layout
So when it says Assasin, and then it points to two different boxes, whats the difference between the boxes. ALso for Hunters, what is the other box. I know one is Beast MAster (??) but whats the other?
