Hahahaha, I like the header size. A wider one, but not so long would suit things better, but I still love this one.

Thanks! I'm still messing with the color scheme a little bit this morning until I have to go to work. Every time I am satisfied with it somone points out an issue like not being able to see one color on top of another because of eye issues or something.
I want everyone to be happy with it so....I keep adjusting things, problem is that it's much more complicated than one would think. They have some stuff tied together so when you intend to change one thing, other stuff changes along with it on the board and then either the background is off there or the text color is off, OYE!!! it makes for a frustrating mess. Then the colors are hard to keep from clashing, they are flat...no gradients as applied so you can't transition them and the abrupt color on color doesn't work so you have to have everything coordinated in the same tones and hues...OYE again....
Something you think will work fine looks like complete crap when applied then you have to go around and tweak everything...again...

Thanks Safx, I do too! I didn't mean to keep whining, I was just venting my frustrations with how they set the adjustments up. Actually I had a ball making the new skin.

You weren't the only one with issues with it the way it was, lol. Thats just how it goes, one never knows or can anticipate what problems others may have with colors and such, all one can do is keep messing with it until most everyone is good with it.

I let mindrop play with the theme options and stuff over at the test site so he put together a really cool one as well. We'll be swapping it out over here in a few days. We also plan to make several different skins and we are thinking of changing skins like every week or so, the format will stay the same....all that will change is the background and/or the header pic and the color scheme....the topics and posts will all be exactly the same and ordered exactly the same.

O and if you need any help I would be glad to do it to the best of my abilities just ask and I'll try.But I really don't mind any of it the way it is some people may not like it but I do especially the header.It's great.

I'm liking the idea (of course it's mine, lol) to open a competition up of design a skin for this forum. I don't know what the prize would be, maybe something to do with the upcoming game? But it could be fun! Might be a little too tricky though to pull that off so we'll see.

Yup, thats what happens...much better than what happens on IF if someone posted whole you were writing a response...this gives you a chance to look at the other post and correct yours accordingly.
