So I would basically be remaking the whole game again

I will have my House somewere in the spine or the beor mountains surrounded by high level baddies so that no one will be able to destroy my house!then i wil make trenches and a moat and a fake bridge that is an illusion so that everyone who gets to the bridge will be killed by my pet hydra and then fed to my giant nagra.
and if that doesnt work than i will get my hired spellcasters to kill you and if worst comes to worst i will hire an army of mercs and wage war upon my house if it is taken over and then if that fails i will go away and steal some eldunari like galby then take over the world and use my massive army to destroy u !

What will the houses look like Span? How will we be able to tell the dimensions if the game is in 2D?

The colors I can't say, most likely they will all be the color of the type of material that you use(Ex: Most brick will be redish, wood brown, etc etc)

Yes there will be diversity in the kinds of houses, each being more lasting/durable than each other. For example, a stone house won't need much maintenance due to it being made of stone, nor will it cost very much since you're just getting a shit load of rocks and making a house out of it. BUT, it will have very limited space with very limited features to have inside. And what I mean by maintain is just that, MAINTAIN, if you don't keep up with the payments than the house itself will start to deteriorate and fall apart, like walls will crack and crumble over time, and if it completely falls down than you just lost a lot of money lol

Thats cool, it's a nice way to keep the game clean of abandoned accounts and guild halls. Stay gone for a week and BOOM, no more guild hall, lol.

Well the time could be set longer than a week, that was just an example.

And the bank should be able to draw from the guild's accout to fix building. That is what I think

Yeah, if the members of a guild forget to pay expenses, then the bank should just automatically withdraw the money from the guild bank. That makes sense.

Or you could set it up so that you deposit money in a special section which it is taken from. That way, you can have some money seperate for other expenses.

Wow...this clears up a lot! I like the idea about "the bank drawing money from you account while you're away".

Also, I think you should have a little section in your inventory area (like the part of your screen that shows different things...dont really know how to describe it...lol!) that lets you pay it from wherever you are...or do we want to just be able to go into any bank and pay for your house payments?

Multiple ways would be good. However, for the sake of ease, Bank is proably the best way to go.

And who is for Mod houses never needing to be repaired? I am. I doubt I will have that much money on my mod account.

And for house payments you'll go to a bank and deposit as much as you can at the moment and that will fuel the house for X amount of time
