Base character preview

Okay everyone, we're pretty certain we have a base character chosen at this point. It's pixel art and the artist was Gerardo Alba who Span and Eve know from a different site.
Anyway here's an idea of what AO characters will resemble, of course these are base characters so they aren't spot on what will actually be in the game, these were used probably in a zombie shoot'em up game so roll with it okay, lol.

They characters will be pretty small then. well they seem okay to me.

Many of us Admins want a larger version. Not sure if it will happen, but we could make these work. I am working on fitting them with weapons in my spare time.

That's good. What kind of weapons may I ask?

oh, I am starting with the basic sword. Check the basic armour/weapons and materials in the suggestion section. The red is what Is the absolute basics in which we will need in the game.

Here is what I can not decide. Which looks better, the left, or the right?

Left. You can see the sword a lot better.

Yeah I like the left as well. Also, it's possible to make the base characters larger, but it would just take more time. The size of the characters doesn
t max out the pixel capacity.

Yeah, I hop they get a bit bigger. That would help.

I like the left as well, however if the whole thing could be bigger than I may like the right.

The biggest they can get is 32x32, and those are 30x15 I believe, and can't get any bigger than that without having to actually code in every movement, etc.

Yeah, they can gain a bit of height still.

No it isn't. You should still raise the height a bit.

Why bother? It's already fine, the 2 extra pixels will make no difference

I got my height and width mixed up again. lol

Well if it won't make a difference then just leave them as they are.

I see no reason to do something that won't do anything at all.
