Ward System

This is something that has been confusing me for a while. In Alagaesia, wards can do basically anything given the right intent and enough energy, so will it be the same in the game? Or will the wards just stand for an armor of energy? Frankly, I'm ok with either, it's just the ward system confuses me.

Well, you could have several wards, one for each element, and one for weapons. A ward could be set, taking the energy, then it could have a special bar. It would have to have a special page. The bar takes your hits, once it is gone, it has to be reset. However, I think that wards should not be able to be set durring a battle. It would have to happen after you have not been attacked for a certain time.

I don't really care how they do it. Also do we know when the game might be released?

Oh, and you could have different strengths of wards. Start weak, then the ward gets stronger the higher level you are.

The different kinds of wards I've yet to think about, but wards WILL be fueled by your energy levels. It's the same as any spell, it will drain you until you're dead if you're not careful. And the more damage the more that is taken from your energy reserves

You could make sets (For example: Ninja helm + Ninja sword + Ninja armor + ninja shoes) will give you a special speed ward.

different sets for different purposes, hybrid sets, etc. But yeah, it will eat less of your energy because it is also fueled by the set (which will be difficult to get!)

Classes can have their class - specific wards, global wards, acquired wards, through scrolls, etc.

Special weapons will have wards and perks, same with special armour. Not all weapons or armous will have these.
