details would be like certain chem's would give u a buffer but prolonged uses would make u addicted its like a potion that ups ur stats for for a short time sorry for not clarifying lol but if u get addicted u would have a negitive stat until u get cured our take the same chem to keep ur stats normall just an idea

I like it, but some details need to be sorted out. Like:
How would we become cured from addiction?
How long would stats be boosted?
How much would we be able to have before addiction?

Also, What do you mean by "you would get a negative stat"?

I know this from Fallout 3, if you take an abundancy of a certain drug say Psycho(boosts damage by 25% ) you become addicted to it and if you don't take it anymore your body goes through a withdrawl and lowers your base stats. Ex: instead of normal stats you have -1 AGI, -1 PER, etc

Berserkers will have their own special set of potions. It is thought they they took drugs beore going into battle.

I like it. Should be added to the crafting class. Oh, there could be healing ones, too.Perhaps you could farm some of the ingreediants.

Doesn't crafting go over smiths and architects? If so, we could have a potion making class under crafting.

I think healing potions should not be 'addictive' as many low leveled players will be using it with less money. How will they keep up?

Drugs that increase attack, speed, defense, accuracy should be 'addictive'. Something that is not necessary only a bonus.

I don't like it, it looks bad to have things like that in a game. Basically what you are talking about having is performance inhancers like steroids or speed or something. Looks like a bad message to be in a video game to me.
Not to mention it complicates the hell out of the game and coding.
