Idiot Parking Attendents

Uggh. So, I went to pick up a friend who lives on campus. I parked in the resident parking, right next to his apartment. The apartments are gated in etc., restricting access. I Parked in one of the many open spaces, and then went inside. 20 minutes later (if that), we came out and there was the parking violation ticket. I may only have a commuter pass, but I am his guest. What would his parents do? Or a friend from out of town? At least give us visitor parking in the resident area, etc.

Haha, well at least you can still drive there. We have at least 16" of snow on the ground here and still only 1/4 mile visibility! I bet we end up with at least 20 inches of snow!

At least we didn't get the 1/2" of ice before the snow started. I stocked up on stuff here including gas for the generators but if I have to get somewhere I can drive one of the dozers, lol.
