Re: Setting things in stone
Not at all. In fact we are deleting all the weapons except a small dull dagger with a broken handle just to make the game more of a challenge
Actually, I think the weapons are pretty much done but there's probably room for tweaking yet.

We need to think of more custom spells. We will, of course, implement the Ancient Language from the IC, so we can use spells like Risa, Thyrsta Vindr, Letta, Garjzla, etc.

Ya the basic AL Spells like the ones you said and some other ones (i'm thinking brisingr here) need to be included, however most people are not familiar with any other AL terms than the most commonly used ones, so we can't go AL the whole way through here, especially if we don't have it IC-based.

Re: Setting things in stone
Are you able to enchant weapons? I would love to enchant my arrows to be able to punch holes through Dragon scales or heavy armour.
It would also be interesting if the darker classes could enchant their weapons with 'black magic,' and the lighter classes with 'light magic.' For example, having a dagger that robs the soul and a shield that protects against magical attacks.
I think that the 'black magic' should be more offensive and the 'light magic' defensive.

Hmm. Yes, to a certain degree, you will be able to enchant. You will have to learn how to, etc.
As to the light/dark magic. Not sure. Why don't you make a suggestion thread about it.

Re: Setting things in stone
I was thinking for the tutorial and i think the kid thing sounds like a good idea but maybe instead of toys its just what u chose for your character to do like.... warriors will go and sword fight with sticks with other boys in town, magicians will go read books??? or hang out with local magician/healer, rouges will go sneak around town and the woods and play with a sling, and craftsmen will go help out the local smithy or help their father make some wooden stuff.

That sounds pretty good to me. Have it so that every class is exposed in someway to their future
