Lol what attack bonuses do you have?? Slash?? Stab?? If it's slash, then you should probably use a scimmy, since they have the best slash of all.

Tons. Under fallador and in Varroc, directly south of the west bank are anvils. Lumbridge and Fally have forges as well.

For smithing stuff, you've got to have the metal bar(s) & hammer. Select the metal bar & 'use' it on any anvil. That's all there is to it.
