EDIT: well, I think a little experimenting wont harm much! Make it dark, because the IC is dark! As I suggested in the PM, 3rd book + 4th book = Great combo.

But I could get used to this.

I'm playing around with different options on an alternate site.

I like the setup now, but throw some more at us.

Ahh, I'm about to give up. SafX wanted to mix themes from books 3 and 4 with an emphisis on Glaedr's colors but I've come to the conclusion that it's pretty much hopeless. Green and gold simply clash.
I'm keeping the alternate site though to use for experimentation in the future. It's nice to be able to make alterations without impacting the permanent site here.

Okay, finished messing with the colors for now. I'm happy with it as it is for a while.

Should anyone still have problems with anything let me know what the issue is so I can try to make adjustments to it.

I'm sorry if anyone still doesn't like the color scheme, try to get used to it for a while if you don't like it at the moment. I used a green theme because of book 4 being green, we may completely change themes in a few weeks though just to change things up a bit. Green just isn't everyones color so...
I heard a few comments about wanting a gold Glaedr theme and I like the idea and I have messed with that on the clone forum so I may change over to that next. It is pretty cool! I like this one though I like green.

What about a black and gold colored forum!Those colors just seem to work with each other.But anyways whatever is fine with me.

Yeah, I let MD into the clone forum with access to the admin panel of course he has played around and oriented himself with the themes and colors section pretty well already.

We plan on making a bunch of different skins and changing them out maybe as much as weekly here just to keep things new and fresh. All the categories, topics and forum will stay exactly the same The only thing that will change as we swap skins will be the colors and pics and textures. We have tested it back and forth several ways and we're certain everything will be the same as far as content and structure.
This way anyone who doesn't like the current theme will only have to wait a week for it to change. We will have a cycle to run them in and will be asking opinions about the new ones as we go jus tto be sure no one is repulsed by anything, lol.
We may even include this as an activity of sorts for the forum and the members and tie it into the game once it's released. We'll have to work all that out as we go though, be sure to watch for updates about the possiblities for this as the days go by. We'll post announcements up here about it.
Yes, to answer your question I'm going to make a black and gold Glaedr themed skin and I suspect we'll also have a Thorn one and a Saphira one too!

Sounds good changing it every week making it new and fresh.Sounds like a great idea because I'm sure that there are people out there that will dislike something just for the point of disliking it.

Yeah I like the idea alot! Well, everyone has a different set of tastes when it comes to colors and pics so this will be a great way for every one to have something they like every so often. Of course in a perfect world we would love to have everyone fall in love with every new look but thats just not realistic.

That would be kinda weird for everyone to love it all at the same time.But ya I love the idea and think it will work out great.

Can I be an admin for the clone forum too?

What about a clone forum and if you need admins I am pretty familiar with the admin panel if you need help.I'm not perfect but I have Mindrop's admin panel that I have explored.

I have an extra clone forum to test skin schemes on. SafX bowed out after seeing how much trouble it is to make skins. If you would like to try I can PM you the address. You'll have to join and then I can grant you access to the admin group.
