Rider Swords and Special Weapons

I reorganized this, did some changes. Hopefully it will be better than the previous.

Note: this is not finalized by Span.

WHAT ARE SPECIAL WEAPONS:

Special weapons are weapons that have a special ability. This ability has a rechargable bar of energy. It recharges over time. Some you might have to go to a specia place to recharge your weapons or armour.

RECHARGE BAR: This is an energy bar that identy fies how much energy you have. If you have enough energy, you can use the special ability. The Number of Attacks is ho many times you can use the special ability with a full recharge

RIDER SWORDS:

The damage that the special ability would deal would be added to your normal attack.

Elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Ice, Air, Lightning, Shadow (cant think of any more at the moment)

Shadow: Your shadow rises up and attacks once. Deals heavy damage Number of Attacks: 2

Fire: Bursts into flames and deals moderate damage. 4

Water: You do not get thursty when you weild this blade. Passive

Earth: A stone giant rises up and hits your opponentd dealing heavy damage. 2

Ice: Slows your opponent for 30 seconds. This includes all movement. 3

Lightning: Call lighting to strike your opponent. Deals moderate damage. 4

Air: blast your oponent with a blast of air dealing heavy damage. 2


Special Weapons:

So can regular swords have a special power or just Rider swords??

No. Special swords and weapons would be rare things like whips, quest swords, etc.

I have an idea for a special sword: a stick. That's right, a stick. You can throw it, slash with it, and break it when you're done.

But seriously, I have an idea for a water sword.

Water: Water coats blade and extends blade's length and strikes, causing moderate damage. 4

A new element could be light?

Light would be good as long as darkness is included too.
@MD, so as an assassin, could I acquire a weapon in a quest that I would be able to dual-wield. Also, can I chhose my swords power??

Duel Weildin quest weapons, well, if you come up with one, post it.

Shadow covers darkness. I'l add light.

I like the shadow ability. As to a special weapon how about a katana.

Eh, We have a Ninjato already. Plus, a Katana can not stand up against metal armour.

In deadliest warrior, a katana cut through a pig carcass cleanly. What's the difference between a katana and a ninjato any way??
Well maybe just have a Duel-Wielded Lightning Shortswords or Dual-wielded Fire Scimitars.

Ice: calls forth multiple ice shards that fly into the enemy causing mid health damage and bleed effect which would cause additional health damage every 3 secs for 1 min.
Or
Ice: put an ice block around your enemy making him freeze for some time(meh not such a good idea lol)
Or
Ice: calls winter to your enemy, making his stats lower for some amount of time(basically making him weak)
Anyways about a special weapon if you won't be making claws as a normal weapon, make it a special weapon

Ninjato is straight and sorter. It is a faster draw than the Katana. It is the blade Ninja's used. Hence why I chose it. It is made in an identical fashion.

And the saying that the Katana can not stand up against Metal armour is true. However, nor can the Ninjato. Eh, I am fine with butchering history a bit. lol.

Yah, it all has to do with style. Ninjato is straight, making it excellet at sbbing and a good slasher.

The Katana is curved, making it and Amazing slashing weapon, but an okay stabing sword.

I am putting down that Ice slows your enemy. That way it does not get like RS when youget frozen. Tht is gay and anoying. Useless Magicians.

Okay. just asking. I guess the ninjato is better

Could you add flameless lanterns to the special weapons list? Those would definitely make a handy weapon if used correctly. . .

Hahahaha. Sure. But that is definantly going to be a hard quest to get to use them.

I like that idea.

My own ideas:

Korean hyeopdo or woldo

Chinese guandao

Meteor hammer (two weights attached to either end of a rope or chain)

Rope dart (similar to a meteor hammer but one weight replaced with a heavy dart)

Korean ssangsudo (a 5-7 ft. longsword)

Another special weapon with limited ammunition: FIREWORKS!!

Wol-Do and the Naginata made it into the normal weapons under a thruster weapon.

I also like the idea of the meteor hammer, it sounds interesting.
