The Problem is the following:
MIDI-Files arent "Audio-Files" itself, they are just files that contain Audio Information (Notes, BPM, Pitch etc.) and the most of the players can read this information, its NOT POSSIBLE to convert them into mp3, wav or else...

But, how so? I've done so before, very easily. I can even do it with my 8 bit converter, so how is that not possible?

I mean... if i got a midi file here and convert it into mp3 or wav, its exactly the same as i save them into that specified format, so the filesize wont change...
But theres one possibililty: I COULD decrease the quality of the soundtracks, but i HATE producing low quality

YES! I found out the 8 bit converter automatically converts the midi to wav files when it converts them. (Unfortunately though, I have to work by using a flash drive to transfer the sound files from my own computer to the only internet ready computer in the house so you have to wait a bit longer. . .) Smile

Most BYOND games don't have soundtracks because of the .wav and its large memory sizes. If there was a way around this I wouldn't be bothering you, but there ins't

Can those same tracts be converted to 8 or 16 bit format? I bet they would sound good anyway. I'm still hoping we find a way around the current problem but nothing yet.

The Problem is... Span said that he needs .wav files... and .wav is always huge... i tried it in 8,16 and 32 bit, no one is smaller then 15 mb Sad

Well, I guess we need to know how small a file size is applicable then? Matbe just a 30 second tract looped? Would be annoying probably even if it would work.
