Dragon Rider Wars Restarted

IC:"The way you talk and go about life is what makes me think that!You are so calm all the time and nothing ever seems to be wrong!You get cocky since the High One steps in every time some one attacks you and stops them from killing you so you think you cannot be harmed but the sad thing is that you can't be harmed because you need the High One to protect you and you cannot take care of yourself!I am only 19 and am almost as powerful as you!You know how I got this way?!I worked for it!I earned this power you just had it handed to you like it was a flower!You know nothing of hard times and pain!NOTHING!"

Bertran threw and enchanted dagger towards Algion and it hit him square in the gut.Bertran's anger built energy inside of him and then a light grew from within him.The shade inside him came out but it did not stop Bertran's anger or his corrupted mind.Bertran's power seemed to stay with him even though the spirit that was inside him was gone and Bertran seemed to be becoming immortal.

OOC:Let Bertran become immortal so that he and Algion can have a fair fight.Their power will be equal so that it will be fair.

"You know nothing of my life Bertran." Vlad said. He drew the dagger from his gut, the wound closing like it had never happened. "I worked hard, hard to become a Yasha. Argon chose me, and we discovered we were the king of the Yasha. From there, we lead the Yasha and our allies against Inito. They all died. We alone, survived. We faced Inito and as one, we slew him. It was then, then and only then, that the High One gave the guardianship of our race over to them.

Since then, he has never protected us. Not once has he stepped in to save us. We have always acted within our abilities. Even now, he will not step in. I am as immortal as he allows, which at this moment, I am not."

The shade within Bertran came out. It was time to finally fight. The other guardians had already engaged the other Deamons.

Bertran charged Vlad with his sword raised and slashed at Vlad's neck.He then jumped over Vlad and slid his blade down Vlad's back.

Bertran stepped back and said."You still don't get it!You never will!"

Bertran then charged Vlad again.

Vlad deftly dodges Bertran's attacks. Bertran began to charge, but tripped, due to Vlad's magic.

Vlad began a fast onslaught on Bertran. He cut high and low, stabbed, all while moveing forward at a breakneck speed.

Bertran blocked Vlad accept for one slice that cut down his leg but it wasn't serious.

"See you use magic to cheat you way out of things!You cannot fight for yourself!Name me one time that we have fought that you haven't used your magic to defend you.You can't you always do it and that is how you win.It is cowardly.You are nothing.Nothing!"

"No, that just shows your weakness. You need to learn to both attack physically and magically simultaneously. They you have truly mastered both," Vlad said.

"As it is, I shall refrain from offensive magic. Prepare Bertran, for the fight for your life."

Vlad's armour shimmered in the light. In his hand was a spear. He also sported a large round shield, 3 feet in diameter. It had a wierd symbol on it. It was the Symbol of the Yasha.

Bertran smiled at the stupidity of Vlad.He had him right where he wanted him.No magic means no problems for Bertran.Bertran pulled his black sword from its sheath and then his shield appeared in his hand.

"You say prepare for the fight of your life.I say the same to you friend."

Bertran stepped closer to Vlad and waited for him to make the first move.

Vlad charged in. His large shield was heavily used offensively. They edge was used to crush the opponent. it also was instantly defensive. Anduri wielded his spear over his shoulder. They were strong, and accurate.

Varaug grew tired of the constant hatred. Evil killing Good, Good killing Evil. Suffering and Oppression...This was it, he could not choose a side, and everything was blurry. Succumbing to his wish for ultimate peacefulness and relief, Varaug went through with the one thing his mind was focusing on ; like a starved man running to a feast Varaug drew his sword slowly, and steadily and lifted it up noting the shine of the blade against the sun.

The Light is none without the Dark, the Dark is none without the Light, Varaug thought as he impaled himself, piercing through his own heart blood spilling out like a troublesome river dam was finally destroyed.

Bertran stuck his shield up and walked towards Algion with his sword raised high over his head.He then watched as he was charged at and started full speed towards the oncoming warrior.

"Varaug has killed himself it seems as if I have a little less power on my side!"

"Too bad for you. I am home, and can not lose," Vlad said. Vlad tossed his spear and shield into the air, where it faded. He pulled his sword out of the air.

"It is time to fight, blade to blade," Vlad said.

Bertran's shield disappeared.

"Let's do this!"

Bertran charged towards Vlad and stabbed towards his chest he knew it would be blocked but let it go anyways.He then kicked Vlad in the stomach and backed away waiting for Vlad's move.

Vlad let the blade pierce his chest. He brought the pommel of his sword down on Bertrans head. Vlad then broke Bertran's grasp on his sword and backed up. He pulled the blade out, his chest healing as it withdrew.
